Course Programme Outcomes

  1. The course is designed to develop awareness of the relationship between individual beliefs: attitudes and behaviours and the wider society and culture.
  2. Students will obtain a sociological understanding of diverse social groups, organization and social institutions. Social institutions are usually conceived of as the basic focuses of social organization: common to all societies.
  3. Agrarian Societies are characterized by their dependence on outside energy flows: low energy: density: and the limited possibilities of converting one every form into another. In order to increase production an agrarian society must either increase the intensity of production.
  4. To understand the basic concepts in sociology and their fundamental theoretical interrelationship: such that students will be able do offline: gives examples: show interrelationships and demonstrate the relevance.
